Adrian, your image brought back many memories of high mountain hiking I have done...some of it in the Sierra Nevada when I lived in California. Your presentation really draws my eye up toward the glacier source. Would haze removal have helped clear up the area at the head of the glacier? The black and white presentation works very well. "Thanks for the memories." |

Marie, I really like your original crop. Might it have enhanced the image to add a bit of contrast? I downloaded the original and, in addition to adding a bit of contrast (haze removal might do the same)I tried a favorite adjustment with beautiful skies. I took the image into Nik Software's Viveza3 and used a control point to add structure just to the sky. I made a delicate addition of structure. I find it is important not to overdue this. |

Barbara, My eye went to the very sharp detail in the feathers. What especially appeals to me is the fact that the mother's feathers drew my eye to the head feathers on the chick. This is what helped me find the chick. It is a very artistic image. |

Bruce, I especially appreciate the sharp eye. Most bird images that I view don't give attention to the eye. You have succeeded in giving a personality to the bird from the sharpness of the eye. Thanks. |

I actually like the featured closeup. The excellent focus gives me a good view of his mouth and whiskers. I've seen more face-front images but have never seen a closeup like this. Thanks Isaac. |

I had temporarily forgotten the theme! I'll try to keep it in mind going forward. |

The riders came by quickly and this shot didn't have more space in front. I agree that it would be better to be able to do this. |

I had my right knee replaced 2 years ago. The new surgeries are robotic assisted. Both of mine were done by this method. It tends to give very accurate results. |
