72 Jul 21 Comment I agree with all the comments above. I. especially, like the chosen main image. Your fast shutter speed added the wonderful drops of water which brings immediacy to the shot.

72 Jul 21 Comment Adrian, it is a nice nature story. The story always strengthen an image in competition. I agree with removing the tilt so it feels balanced. I also agree that it is nice to keep the feet in the image.

72 Jul 21 Comment Marie, what a charming image. It is a unique presentation and that is always helpful in competition. I think the glow around the goslings might benefit from being a bit less bright. I used a luminosity selection to just bring the brights down a bit. I'll upload my interpretation. Jul 10th
72 Jul 21 Comment I haven't seen poppies since I moved east. How beautiful they are. It is pretty amazing that the blue cornflower popped up within the poppies. It makes me wonder if nature knows when an opportunity like this occurs? Did the cornflower know how beautiful it would look surrounded by poppies? Jul 10th

72 Jul 21 Reply It may be difficult to grasp how small some of the trees in the foreground are. Without that understanding, the massive cliffs may be hard to grasp. I'll check some other images from that trip to see if they present scale better.
