Isaac, I appreciate your additional images which fill in the story. It is especially meaningful to get the cultural backgrounds of photographs when traveling. |

If I stay in this group long enough I will have an education on birds. I. too, am impressed with his red eye. I appreciate the story that the water drops give.

I must comment that I haven't crossed paths with turkey vultures! When I first glanced at your image, in my ignorance I thought it was a rooster!
Great shot! |

I am late in posting so I can only add my agreement to the vertical crop. The most recently added image is magical! I have always favored sunrise outings! |

i have recently taken an Interest in the topic of motion in photography. It is very challenging and requires careful choices between shutter, aperture and iso. I tried selecting the bird away from the background and then reduced the brightness of the background. It is attached. I commend your time spent on this technique. |

I don't come across this creature very often. Your capture has given him much personality. |

Here is a larger image of the kaleidoscope I previously submitted. |

I have separate directions for creating a kaleidoscope which only uses a portion of the image. It can be created from any image, including landscape. I'll attach a Kaleidoscopic image and the image it came from. Notice the selected part of the original. That is what created the final design. |

Randy, my usual choice of flower is one in which I can select the flower away from its background and then change the background to black. This flowering tree didn't offer a flower which could be readily selected, so I selected it by drawing around (away from the edges) with the lasso tool. |

I already increased the saturation since the lighting didn't help. Perhaps some more saturation would help to make up for the overcast day. |
