Yes, that would certainly be a handicap. So far, my surgeries have been to my knee and shoulder. The weightlessness of the underwater environment is my friend. |

I understand your reticence to be underwater. I have a cousin who tried to join me and couldn't clear her ears. I don't think all bodies are equipped for the underwater environment. Evidently my ears, etc. were made for to be underwater. I didn't have any problems to overcome. One neat advantage for me is that, as I get older (I am 87) I am entirely comfortable underwater...no arthritic pain! |

Thanks for your appreciation. Being a part of the underwater world has given me a feeling of participation in the exploration of space...the underwater space. |

Isaac, I especially like the sharp fur near the baby's face! I am impressed by your patience to hang around and wait for the right moment. I, also, like the shot with the Mom. It has quite a story of how the baby is carried around. |

Adrian, I haven't looked up close at many spiders so this shot amazes me (and leaves me a bit fearful?). It almost appears like the background is spinning. I guess that's an optical illusion. I can appreciate how much work you put into this image. Beautiful! |

Marie, I guess we are the "eastern" contingent in this group. This encourages me to make a trip to Chimney Bluffs when I am comfortable reaching out a bit farther from home. Congratulations on your award. I visited Image City Gallery one time when our Camera Club had an exhibit. Spectacular shot! |

Walt, I am envious of your location and this great shot. I went out 3 nights here in the outskirts of Buffalo. No matter how far I drove east along the shore of Lake Erie, I never had enough darkness to see Neowise. I love to reach my mind out into space. Thanks for sharing. |

Randy, I tried opening it in Adobe Camera Raw to see if I could bring down the highlights. It seemed to help. I don't know that it improves your original image. It was fun to try. I love their playfulness. I'm glad you were using a telephoto lens. They can be powerful opponents. Nice job. I envy your trip.

I, too, love your sea lion. It reminds me of the time I spent living on the West Coast. His nose is my favorite spot! |
