72 Mar 19 Comment An action shot with a story is always great! I am impressed with how well you lifted the exposure from the shadows. The colors in this image suggest a very different location from what I usually see.

This is a pretty big world and some creatures have a limited homeland. It is fun to see these birds.

72 Mar 19 Comment I love the angle of the Milky Way that you chose. I'm not sure that the tent adds that much to the composition. For me it tends to diminish the importance of the Milky Way...but it is a unique way to present the Milky Way.

It is very nice to see the detail in the foreground around the tent.

72 Mar 19 Comment This is another great example of how to expose for low light and high contrast. All of the details are there in the highlights. I appreciate the very straight horizon and all the great detail in the water.

72 Mar 19 Comment Isaac, what a great example of how to expose at very early morning. Because you exposed the brights very well the final image hasn't lost any of the details in the sunrise and you were able to lift the shadows appropriatle.

72 Mar 19 Reply You are all correct in noticing the softness. In the original capture, the bird was too small. Consequently, the crop took away too much detail. I'll go back and look at the original.
