You're right. I chose a shutter speed which left me with a sharp area in the middle that resembles a face. Incidentally, I just realized that this image doesn't really fit into our wildlife category......unless you think about the crabs that might be inside! |

When I have been in the company of puffins, they haven't performed like this! I love the display of the wings. I appreciate that the crop gets rid of the cloud detail. The soft clouds in the final image enhance the puffin. |

I love to see an image that makes me chuckle! You show a lot of creativity in thinking of capturing this pose. I think that this zebra had a "great hair day." I have never noticed the whiskers on these animals because they are usually too far away.
I really like this shot! |

What a great capture of their wings in opposite positions! I find that fact one of the most interesting parts of the capture. I noticed that you used a low ISO and this certainly helped avoid noise in the under-exposure. Beautiful image! |

It is quite amazing that you could hold the camera at 600mm and still get such a sharp shot! I have found that most of my good bird shots were hand held. It is difficult to have a camera on a tripod and still point it at these subjects. Is the iridescent color on the head natural or the result of post processing. Beautiful Shot! |

I have never seen a face-forward shot like this one. It is spectacular. You obviously stopped the action or you wouldn't have been able to crop it this much and maintain the sharpness. Great Shot! |

It is such an amazing photo. It is interesting to see that center placement of the main subject fits very well with this image. |
