Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
37 Apr 17 Comment The perspective gives the image depth. Nice composition, texture and sharpness with the lighthouse positioned to make full use of the lines created by the wispy clouds. Apr 30th
37 Apr 17 Comment The sepia tones work well with this image that you choose to shoot as a still life. The points of interest are sharp and the lighting is constant. Movement blur in the hammer would only have blurred out the prefect left hand in my opinion. Like it. Apr 30th
37 Apr 17 Comment Well seen with interesting shapes and patterns. My only suggestion would be with the cropping to take some off the top and tile it too the left placing more emphasis on the ice patterns. Apr 30th
37 Apr 17 Comment A beautiful subject with a unique center as the attraction. I checked this image in threshold and apart from one miniscule tip of the topmost flower there is no overexposure in this image. I guess the paleness of the flower is a personal preference only. Apr 30th
37 Apr 17 Comment A great landscape, the colouring in the clouds is eye catching. The black background impacts on the foreground, looks better with white but not within your control. What an amazing site first hand it must be. Apr 30th
37 Apr 17 Comment Yes, Gunter I am enjoying the adventure into macro. With this image my intent was to have the green center stamen in focus as the flower I had to work with was marked and the marks were more evident and a distraction with those I took at a smaller f stop. Thanks for all the constructive comments. Apr 12th
37 Apr 17 Comment Sorry I forgot the processing. I removed a few obvious specs on the petals, did noise removal and smart sharpening. Apr 3rd
37 Apr 17 Comment Simple and effective as both the shell and the receding water line incorporates the rule of thirds with these elements. The excavated sand line leads the eye out of the frame from left to right. Was it early morning or a dull day to get this great light without harsh shadows. Apr 3rd
