A beautiful autumn scene with perfect reflections. About the sunspot: My easy way of solving this is to clone in the nearby clouds with a low opacity. Just remember to do the same with the reflections. |

I think mobile phones will take over more and more, but for me, it is the process of setting up the camera, decide the settings and then push the trigger that is the reason why I take pictures. The picture is technically good, but I agree with Larry, that there are too many competing elements. |

Shooting pictures in darkness is not easy. The contrast between the sky and the ground is too much to handle for any camera. This can be overcome by bracketed shots. To me, it looks like that the original is underexposed. It is far easier to get good nightscapes before it becomes completely dark. That being said, the silhouette of the mast and the tower beside it, make a nice contrast to the city light in the background and the stars and the aviation lights make it pop. |

The first thing that caught my attention was the bird; I found it irritating that the real bird had little contrast to the background. After having looked at it for a while, I found it interesting how the mirrored bird became the main object. I understand that is an early morning picture, but to me, it is a bit too bright. I would suggest to darken the surroundings and keep the focus on the bird. I think that would add mood to the image. |

I love this painterly style. In particular, you have not fallen for the temptation to boost the autumn colours but keep them in a pastel style. The slight fog adds to the mystery mood. The only pick as Larry already has mentioned, is to crop out the rocks at the bottom. |

I was in Siene many years ago and plan to go there again in April. To me, it is one of the most picturesque cities in Italy. You have captured this scene well, with the warm brick stone colour contrasting with the blue sky and the leading lines into the basilica. I agree with Larry`s crop that makes the image cleaner. |

Thank you for your comment, Michael. I agree about the cropping to the left, but this was a trade-off. There was a building that was not easy to clone out, so I decided to crop it out instead. |
