I see that I have about the same comments as Larry and Michael. That being said, it is a well-captured image. I like the repetition of shapes in the creek and the exposure is just right to give some texture in the water. |

I got the feeling of a fairytale at first glance. I like the warm tone and the framing of the trees in the foreground. The layers of fog and mountains create a beautiful feeling of depth in the image. My only pick is the white spots to the left that grab the attention of the houses. |

Converting to B&W was a smart thing to do in this case. I like the curved line leading up to the lighthouse. A long exposure would work well, I think, on this motive as it would give more emphasis on the lighthouse and the curved path. My suggestion for improvement is to darken the rocks in the foreground to create more contrast to the curved line. |

If I shall sell my mansion in Fort Lauderdale one day, I will hire you to take the pictures 🙂. Using a long shutter speed where trees are involved, is a risky task due to motion blur, but that is not the case here. The blurred water is what distinguishes this image from the crowd. The exposure is spot-on where the illuminated parts are not blown out and the surroundings are not too dark. To make it pop a bit more, I would suggest to lighting the facade and some of the trees a touch. |

I love your picture, Babara. The composition is spot on with the diagonal line of the tree and the root is not touching the horizon. The shutter speed is long enough to blur the sea and at the same time short enough to keep the details in the tree sharp. If I should give any advice, it would be to darken the sea slightly, particularly in the foreground to create a contrast to the tree. |

Thank you for your comment, Larry. I have not used the white balance. The warm tone is added selectively, omitting the river and partly the sky. |
