Photographing is a bit like fishing, you are not guaranteed the result you are hoping for. I like the contrast between warm and cold colours. If I shall give any suggestions, it would be to give the top of the sky a darker blue colour that repeats the sea. |

As said before, I am amazed by your effort in planning and taking the time it takes to get it all correct. I have tried Photopills a few times, but never got the hang of it. I think I have to try harder.
I like the way you have processed the three different parts of the scene. The sky and the moon have a nice complementary contrast and well well-exposed. The statue and the spire have just a little texture that makes it interesting. I am a bit uncertain about the composition of the hand outside the moon, but it works as it is. I guess this
is a choice you have made on purpose. I am sure the church will be happy with the deal they made. |

It is the couple that makes this image stand out. I am unsure if it was possible, but a lower camera position would bring the couple into the bright sky area and increase the contrast. I agree with Larry in cropping part of the sky. To me, a square format would work fine. |

Thank you, guys, for your comments. I hadn't noticed the dark cloud behind the mountain, but I agree with you. The easiest is, as Michael suggests, lightening the mountaintop. |
