36 Jul 22 Comment A beautiful image with leading lines in a diagonal pattern. The exposure is just enough to give motion blur in the water and at the same time keep some texture. I also liked the palette of colours that make the image pop. Jul 8th
36 Jul 22 Comment A lot of good craftsmanship in this image! I do a lot of architecture photography myself and know how difficult it is to make everything right in camera. I like the symmetry and the overall composition. My only tiny comment is to straiten the columns on the sides and make the roof 100% horizontal. Jul 8th
36 Jul 22 Comment My first impression was the way you have processed the image. It has a painterly look that I really appreciate. Like the others, I am in doubt about the sky, but I think Barbara has a good idea about cropping to 16:9 format.

You don't say anything about what you have done in post processing, could you share some "secrets" with us?

36 Jul 22 Comment I agree that a picture doesn't have to show reality, but more the emotions and idea you have in mind. In my opinion you have succeeded very well with this capture. The statue with the clouds in the background is really scary. I think it is possible to make several versions of this image that would have different effects, f.ex. cropping to a portrait format leaving the banners and the plate below the statue out. Jul 8th
36 Jul 22 Comment A lot of good work here. I like the composition and the way you have post processed it. My only comment is the object on the left side that is distracting to me. I think the image would be cleaner if you removed it. Jul 8th

74 Jul 22 Comment A beautiful scene that definitely works better in B&W. The exposure time gives both a blur, but also some crispness. My only suggestion for improvement is to darken the white reflections on the sides of the waterfall as they take some attention away from the main object. Jul 8th
74 Jul 22 Comment A very minimalistic image with nice details. I think I would increased the highlights on the steering wheel and gear lever and darkened the dashboard slightly. Most likely that would make the image pop and make it more interesting. Jul 8th
74 Jul 22 Comment A very dramatic scene. I like the angle and the composition. The clouds add to the dramatic feeling. My suggestion to improvement is to darken the foreground and making a slight vignette. That would give more attention to the boat.

If you have the chance to go back, may be you could try a long exposure that might give a surrealistic feeling.

74 Jul 22 Comment The B&W version is much stronger than the original. However, it lacks a distinct point of interest. My suggestion is to darken the surroundings and brighten the two logs. I think that will give more drama to the image. The composition is good where the two logs make two diagonals and leading lines. Jul 8th
