A great improvement from the original. This picture could be used in the marketing the place. I can agree on removing the branches at the top, but the ones at the left I think works as a framing of the picture together with those to the right. |

Being from Norway, I know exactly how it was there, cold and beautiful. I like the repeating triangles to the right.
My suggestion for improvement is to add some more contrast in the ice and darken the sea and perhaps lighten the sky at the horizon to make a clearer line between sea and the sky. |

I like both the image and the story behind it. Now I also know more about different types of light houses. Taking the time to get all the details right, like the exposure of the waves, is something many of us have to learn from. To me, the lesson is to take less picture and work hard on every detail in the ones you take. Then you get results like this.
My only suggestion is to include the end of the wave to the right. That would given a complete leading line up to the light house. |

You have put a lot of effort into this image and you have succeeded, indeed! Taking parts of a scene at different times is new knowledge to me, thank you. To me, the composition and exposure is spot on. I would not change a thing. |

A stunning image, Haru. B&W or colour; in this case both work and it is not one over the other. The natural farming leads the eyes to the waterfall. The dynamic range is superb with wonderful grey tones. My only comment is that I feel that it is cropped too tight, would like see a bit more at the top and to the right. |

I too have an affinity to old cars. Since I am a bit late in my commenting, most has already been said.
My suggestion for taking pictures like this is to go more for details. For example shoot straight from the front and make a symmetrical abstract like image. |

When having so many similar objects in an image, it is difficult to express a point of interest that stands out to be understood. Haru had a comprehensive comment that I agree with and cover my thoughts also. |

An interesting minimalistic image. I had to google the place to understand that it was a youth prison. Then the dramatic approach makes sense. Walking around in these grim premises did not appeal to become a better person, I would think. I like the light that comes in through the door that is balanced with the window light. The light bulb enhances the spartan environment. |

Very well done, being a photograph that was not planned. You can feel the speed and the sound of jetski. I like the triangle of the wave behind and how it creates a leading line up to the driver.
I think Dick´s cropping works better as it keeps more focus on the main subject. |

It is difficult, when overwhelmed by beauty, to narrow down to something that catches interest. I think Haru is into something here, but by cropping so hard, the resolution is suffering. |
