This "troll" is an imaginary one. Some will see it and other not. Some might see something completely different from a troll. |

Here you have made art out of art. I like the contrasty white to the dark sky and the shades of grey. The light in the background create an atmosphere and puts it into a context. Well done! |

To me, this scene calls for mood and mystery. My suggestion is to crop down to square format as the bright sky takes too much attention. The original saturation is more appealing to me. My suggestion is to darken slightly from the sides and top and lighting the middle of the path and the logs. |

Going from reality to what you want it to be is when photography becomes art. It is easy to go too far with these new softwares, but you have balanced it very well. As already mentioned, this is an inspiration to go back and look for hidden gems in our albums. |

We can all get a good snapshot now and then, but normally it takes time and effort to make a good image. Even though this was not as planned, it takes knowledge and experience to exploit the new situation into perhaps something better. The image has a moody feeling, I think most due to the stars in contrast to the dark sky.
My tiny little comment is the halo in the horizon between the lighthouse and the building and the light spots in the wood. |

At first glance, I thought this was a sunset composite. When reading the story, I am impressed by the way it is captured. The exposure is spot on and the composition is excellent. Topaz DeNoise has saved many of my pictures as well and has done a good job here. Agree in cropping out the shore line and the nearest wave. All in all, an amazing image! |

An interesting shot. I like the low camera point. Actually, here are three objects that are competing about the attention, the splash, the middle rock and the mountain. I am not sure what will work best, but my suggestion is to crop the nearest row of rocks, dodge the splash to make it pop more and darken or make a vignette around the background. |

It is fun to play with extra elements. For me it is OK that it doesn't look realistic. It is art work! I like the grey tone in the sky and the stars that light up here and there.
About enhancing the light rays, it can be done in in two ways (at least) a) luminosity mask as Dick suggests or making a mask with soft edge around each ray and dodge carefully. |

Shooting architecture is a lot about pattens and lines. I like the minimalistic style that give the image an abstract feeling. Here are my suggestions for improvement:
- Crop in from the right into the end wall and make it 100% vertical.
- Darken the bright part of the right wall
- Darken the left wall with a gradient
- If you are familiar with luminosity mask, use it to make more contrast in the midle building
- draw a gradients for top and bottom to make the middle wall less uniform or perhaps a radial mask.
By doing this, I think you will have a very interesting and unusual image. |

A lot of good work here. I like the S-curve in the road. My first thought was to make a vignette to emphasise on the road, but not quite as heavy handed as Jeff suggests. May be also light up the road in the midle to make the line clearer and also the small tree beside the road in the foreground. At the end, darken the two parallel lines in the middle of the image. |
