Your image brings my mind to spring and it is good to have something to look forward to now in November. What makes this picture standing out from the crowd is the ice on the rose and the two droplets. The beautiful light and the blue complementary colour to the rose make the picture pop. |

This could have been a post card from this place. The swan creates a calmness into the image and the fairytale style structures make the whole scene a bit surrealistic. |

I like the grey tones in this image as they express calmness and silence. I also like the composition with the triangle island in the middle. My only suggestion is to use the grad filter to darken the sky slightly from the top. |

An interesting image, Larry. The biggest achievement here, is to spot such a detail and then go out and capture it. I agree with Barbara that wading in alligator waters is not for me.
I don't know if it was possible, but I would liked a lower camera point in order to make Madonna taller and stand out more to the surroundings. Moreover, the tree and the branch to the left could be darkened slightly. |

I like pictures with drama and this one has a lot of it! 1/6s seems to give just the little hint of blur that creates movement. My suggestions for improvements:
I have nothing against breaking the rules when it is done intentionally, but to me, it would work better to crop to square form the top as you still have enough sky and give more emphasis to the pier and the sea.
In a very subtle way, darken the darks on the sea on the left side of the pier. Luminosity masks will do a good job if you are using that. |

Thank you for your comments. Hope you will share pictures from your new project. To me, it it has become kind of a mission to document objects that are about to vanish. I am also working on a series from the old court house in Bergen that will be renovated shortly. |

A very well captured scene. I like the leading lines from the lower stream up to the middle stream and then up to the waterfall. I also like the use of grey tones. I think the use of PL filter has done a good job here. |

I hope that we before too long can put these kind of scenes behind us, but I might be hoping for too much. It is a simpe that is emphasised by the way you have edited it. The composition gives a feeling that she is walking out of the picture, which makes it more interesting. I support Dick´s suggestion to darken the background. |

I think it was a good idea to convert this image to B&W as curvy line is better expressed. I like the composition with the curve starting in the lower corner and moving into the picture. As already commented, the image is a bit flat and I agree with Don´s suggestion. In Dick´s suggestion, I feel that the sky is competing too much with the main subject. |

First, I would like to say that I am also an admirer of Ansel Adams. This scene is a classical example of creating depth with a clear foreground, middle ground and background. In the original the dept is evident by going from dark in the foreground and going lighter into the middle and background. Haru and Dick has already said what I would suggest, so I shall not repeat any of that. |

Most of us would overlooked a tiny scene like this. I like the pattern of the white treads that gives a kind of graphical look. I
I don't know if you had chance to get closer, but a tighter frame with just the spider net, framed by the thin branches would worked better. You have cropped quite a lot, but I think you could cropped the leaf out completely or darkened it as it takes attention from the main subject. I would also lighten the spider to make it the point of interest. |

Thank you, Don. Actually, several people are saying that I should make a book of my Bergen pictures, so may be I should do that. I have never done anything like that before, so that should go well 🙂 |
