My first impression was that I liked the vintage colour scheme. Have you used a LUT? I agree that the raindrops create a calm atmosphere in the image. The leading lines from the canal guide the eyes into the beautiful valley in the background. If I should suggest something, it would be to crop the sky about half to the treetop to the right. |

You have done a good job in the post processing of this image, both with the sky replacement and recovering details in the cliff. I agree with Larry that the white spots at the lower left look a bit unnatural.
Ireland is not so far away for me, so this picture gave a push to go there one day. |

It pays off walking the extra mile. I like the way you have separated the background from the sand. The pano cropping works fine. The person makes the composition and exhibits the scale. I agree with earlier comments that a bit more texture in the sand would enhance the picture. |

I like this picture mainly because of the colours and the good composition. Like Barbara, I think a rectangular crop would work better as the upper part takes attention from the bridge and the beautiful reflections. |

First, I have to apologize for not commenting on your April picture, it was a picture of my liking.
You certainly have the grip of creating mood in your images. I like your choice of shutter speed where the texture is maintained and at the same time has some blurry effect. The composition is good with leading lines from the waves and the shoreline. The two complementary colours make the image pop. It is, of course, personal taste, but I would tone down the brightness of the yellow sky slightly as it takes too much attention from the sea.

To me, this is a Fine Art picture. It is interesting to discuss sharpness. My first impression was that the nearest parts were too sharp. Listening too much to club members is not always a good idea (I am speaking from experience) It is better to look at pictures of the big photographers in the world, like Micael Kenna. I agree with your cropping to make it symmetrical. I would prefer a longer exposure time to blur out the sea by going to ISO 100 and f/16. |

The B&W version is definately more powerful than the colour one. The image has a lot of drama. In my opinion, you have succeeded very well with the post-processing. You have got exactly what you wanted; to make it look like late evening light. I have to agree with Ata about the camera settings. Around f/10 and ISO 100 would been a better choice in my opinion. It is amacing, though, that you have got it sharp at 1/30, handheld. |

I really like the composition of this picture. The curved lines in the building and the repeating curved lines in the roads. I also like the conversion to B&W. Well done! |

Street photography takes a lot of social abilities from the photographer. I think it is a good idea to ask to take pictures like this instead of just shooting. You have managed to portrait the personality of the person very well. If I should mention anything, it would be to make some more contrast in the beard so the face stands more out from the background. |

You have succeeded well in capturing the mood in this image. The boat is standing still and the people are quietly watching the beauty of the cherry tree. Both the canal and the fences create leading lines up to the tree. The reflections in the water enhance the blossoming, although not very apparent. |
