Good comments, Michael. I will try to crop the sky. I havenテざt done anything to the sky, but maybe I should light it a bit. |

I understand that this is one of your favorite places. Since the original is not available, I don`t know how much the colours are enhanced, but I think you could enhance the colours to give a kind of abstract impression. I also think the sky could be cropped almost down to the mountain tops. |

In my opinion, the B&W is the best alternative since it has a more graphical impression. I am not sure, but I think a vignette would limit the number of details in the image. And, I agree with Richard to keep the white line in. |

A very interesting image. Kind of fantasy like with the moon falling down on the bridge. I like the golden colour that gives a calming feeling. Would like to see the original main photo to get an idea of the post-processing. |

An interesting composition. The blur is just enough to give a motion effect and at the same time keep some texture in the water. I agree with Ying that it is too contrasty with too many white areas that take attention away from the house that is the main subject. I think it would be better by enhancing the grey tones and lower the white, particularly in the background. |

We had also a long period of cold weather this winter, so it is interesting to see the same from other parts of the world. I agree with Dickテざs comment about dodging. In addition, I would dodge the top of the lower-left slightly. |

An interesting picture. To me, it becomes a bit flat. My suggestion is to increase the white, especially in the face, but also the lightest parts of the cloth around the neck. The hair could also be lightened slightly so it stands out from the background. |

Hi Bill. In this case, I could have copied Haruテざs comments as I agree fully with his comments. With some rather easy adjustments, the picture improved a lot! |

A well captured picture, Dick. You have managed to keep it sharp all the way through which is not easy, even with f/18. You have also suceeded well with the grey tones and not overdone anything. You could perhaps darken some of the shadow areas slightly to create more depth and drama. I donテざt agree with Haruテざs comment on the rock to the right. To me, the overlapping creates depth and makes the picture more interesting. You could consider darken it slightly to make it stand out from the mountain behind.
Interesting that you have used Alister Bennテざs history brush technique. I tried it out some time ago, but found it too complicated and went back to normal dodge and burn using 50% grey and luminosity masks. |
