A quiet scene with a nice colour contrast between cold blue and warm yellow. The snow makes some kin of a S-kurve into the mountains. I agree with Larry in cropping the foreground as it takes too much attention. I will also suggest to dodge the white in the mountain to make it pop more. |

An impressive picture of a waterfall. The composition is spot on with the tree placed in the crossing point of rule of thirds. The framing is almost symmetrical. The stream has a lot of repeating elements and makes the image pleasant to look at. A piece of excellent work, Michael. |

At first glance, I thought you had visited a Norwegian glacier :) The cropping improved the picture a lot. I like the V-shape and the leading lines in the glacier, guiding through the image. I agree with the others in removing some of the blue tint. I would also desaturated the blue sky a bit as it takes too much attention. |

It is an impressive scene you have captured this time, Larry. It is almost like a painted artwork. The low camera point leads the eyes into the waterfall and up. The colours are saturated, but not overdone. Your efforts have been greatly rewarded! |

A lot of interesting post processing here, Angela. I am studying artistic compositing also now, so I might post some of mine as well in the future. The main flower is crisp and sharp with good tonal range. Together with the background flowers, with a different texture, it stands out very clearly with an artistic touch. |

To me, you have composed the picture well. The focal point is the swirl in about the midle of the picture. How much motion blur is a matter of taste, but to me, it is about right. You have some texture at the same time as the there is a sense of movement. The shutter speed is short enough to keep the the leaf in the foreground sharp, which is an essential part of the composition. My suggestion for improvements; the upper stream disturbs the composition as all the other lines lead to the foal point. The easiest way is to darken this stream. A slight crop of the left and bottom side would bring the focal point more out of senter. By lighten the highlights in the water, the picture will pop more and be more interesting. |

This picture is all about mood. You get instantly attracted to the sad face. No emotions, no spirit, just plying the drum. As always, your pictures tell great stories. In my opinion, the legs of the statue should not be removed as they are part of the story, a man playing on the street. The only change I would suggest is to lighten the light parts in his face to enhance the hopeless expression. |

I like your composition with the lonely tree towards the great sky. It gives quietness and drama. The light in the foreground leads the eyes into the tree and up to the sky. The symmetry enhances the feeling of quietness. My suggestions for improvement is to darken the highlight in the sky as it takes attention from the tree. About the exposure; in my opinion it should either be longer or shorter. If shorter, the clouds would be sharp and crisp. If longer, they would be more dreamy and abstract. By going up to f/16, I think you would got sufficient exposure time. |

This is a very difficult scene to shoot. When you are there and see it, you get overwhelmed by the beauty and light, but when you see the picture, it is not so great. The reason or part of the reason, is that the dynamic range of the eye is much higher than any camera so far. The problem here is that the lights are the brightest spots in the picture and take the attention from the ornaments and other beautiful details. In this case, I think I would stick to the colour version as it displays more of the atmosphere. |

Panning is not easy, everybody who has tried it, knows that. You have chosen the right shutter speed and you know how to move the camera. I like the composition where they are running into the picture. The sense of speed and movement is captured in an excellent way. Very well done, David. |
