I took the liberty to make a B&W conversion and applied some dodge and burn and gradient adjustments. I think this picture has a great potential. I will highly recommend you to start using luminosity masks to make accurate adjustments. |

Beautiful tones of pink and blue. I am a bit in doubt about the snow. My first impression was that it is too pink (or magenta), but seeing the alternative, I am not so sure anymore. I think it is OK as it is. |

Shooting a famous scene is not easy. In my opinion you have done a great job here. What makes it stand out for me, is the light on the nearest tower. The post processing is excellent. A great shot, Bill. |

Using multiple exposures works well in motives like this with flowing water. The small waterfall at lower left make the picture stand out from all the others taken at the same place. You have also succeeded well in balancing the colors. |

Often less is more. I like the subtle tones and all the grades of shadows. Can definitely be put on the wall! |

You have succeeded very well with this picture. The moon light and long exposure create a moody atmosphere.
My suggestion for improvement is to dodge some of the highlights in the waterfall and the foam on the water slightly more to give more contrasts in the image. |

A warm welcome to you, Debbie. Being the las to comment, most is already said about you picture. Of the suggestions given, I am most in favour of the one given by Larry. By dodging the water, the image becomes more moody. A good start to the group! |

The rock is made of Brazilian sodalite. It does not have a particular story. It was given to the city of Bergen by a local company celebrating its 100 years anniversary. |

First, unfortunately, I have picked the wrong original. I took a lot of pictures with different angles, so I was a bit too quick here.
Thank you for the idea to try a night shot, I will try that. |

By converting to B&W, it is not just another flower macro shot. There is a tension between the insect and the stamen that makes it interesting. We know that they are dependent on each other to survive.

This is a great shot, Ata. I like the camera angle and the line of the flag poles. The impression of his face shows a man who have lived a life. My suggestions for improvements is to make more contrast to his face. In particular, whitehead's his eyes and the beards. |

An interesting scene, you can feel the intensity of the conversation. I think I would cropped from both sides to emphasise on the ladies. |

A good example of The decisive moment. A very well captured picture. As Haru also points out, I would like more grey tones in the whale body. |

I like your composition and the lighting of the flower. I think Haru´s suggestions improves the image by toning down the background and emphasise on the flower. |
