A very well captured image. My eyes start with the pond and drawn by the natural lines into the wood and into the sea. I like the combination of colors that makes the picture pop. If I should suggest anything, it would be to slightly darken the sea to make it stand out more and increase the contrast to the surroundings. |

I have been at the same spot. Reykjavik is a very interesting city with its bright colors and special architecture. I don`t have any suggestions for improvement as I like the brightness and the composition. |

Interesting composition with eight repeating "fingers" that are fading out in the distance. Good use of DOF. The road and the bridge tie the whole thing together. Personally I would like some more contrast and darkening the foreground to emphasise the DOF. I agree with Michael that the softness of the distant mountains is not quite natural. |

Good use of light and lines to make the composition; Dark in the foreground and lighter towards the mill and then darker again. The waterfall and the building are great leading lines towards the mill. A slight darkening of the water to the left would make the composition even stronger. |

A beautiful image in all respects. I like the balance between the heavy peak to the right and the small peak to the far left.
I agree with Micael and George that it is slightly dark, but instead of lightening the whole picture, I would try with some individual light painting to make more contrasts and make it pop.

I like your dreamy approach to this image by using high key and white vignette. I also like the angle you have chosen. My only advice for improvement is to remove the wire across the gate. |

Together with Palmela, I like your cropping. I also like the use of grey tones at the same time as you have a full tonal range from black to white. It has a good balance with the tractor on one side and the hey balls and the bushes on the other side. The angle of the tractor creates a leading line into the scene. |

My first thought was Jurassic Park. I was looking for a dinosaur to show up somewhere :). This image definitely works best in B&W. The B&W conversion is very well done. I like the leading lines from the trees and the path in the middle. My only minor pick is the stick in the foreground that breaks the leading line of the path. Good work, David! |

You have captured a beautiful scene, but I think you have gone too far in making contrasts. In BW photography the grey tones are the most important ones. There is a lot of negative space on the left side that does not serve a purpose, so I think you could have cropped some of it out. I hope you don´t find my comments too harsh, as they are well-meant. Maybe others have a different opinion. |
