I really appreciate that you take the time to work on my picture. Now I have some good ideas for further improvements. |

Thank you, Bill. I agree with the branches, but to me the your crop has cut too much on the right side. I will try using Content Aware to remove the branches. |

A colorful and beautiful picture. The composition works well. With my farming background, the rocks at the top it looks like two mating pigs 🙂 |

Good composition with the rocks in the foreground and the rock in the sea to the right. Liked the clouds that made leading lines to the sun. A beautiful and pleasing image. |

I love Iceland. I was there on a workshop last autumn. The composition is good with the cattle in the foreground. My two proposals for improvement is to corp it slightly from both sides and make it a bit darker. |

It is amazing how well the cellphones captures pictures nowadays. Why do we carry 10 kg of gear when we have it all in the pocket? Knowing it is taken with a cellphone, I think it is fantastic! |

I liked the lighting and the colors in this picture. It has a moody and nostalgic atmosphere that makes me relax. Well done, Richard! |

I agree about the perspective correction, but as I wrote to Alicia, I had the lens as wide as possible and I could not get further back so I didn't have extra space for correction. I am considering starting saving for a Tilt/shift lens to solve this kind of problems :)

Hi Alicia. The perspective was a challenge in this photo. I could not go further back and I used 24 mm focal length on my 24 - 70 mm lens. I first tried the upright function in Lightroom, but tried Free Transform in PS instead. The dilemma is that if you correct the perspective, you also have to crop. In this case, the cross at the top would almost hit the top of the frame, which I considered a less attractive. If you are not familiar with Free Transform, you press Cmd+T. By pressing Cmd when moving the lines, you may change perspective. |

I think the B&W conversion is fine. I think the image would be better if you cropped the foreground a bit as it took too much attention. A gradient filter on the sky would have framed the image better. |

I think you have done well, taking into account the limitations you had. However, using the unsharp mask for moving water is not a good idea. It doesn´t look real. If you had used aperture f 18, I think you would got long enough exposure time for blurring. |

This is a good story about a man who has found his hideaway. I think catching any fish is secondary. I think you could have removed thin the branches sticking out from the sides. It would give the image a cleaner look. |

A very dynamic picture! A tripod would not do you any good here. The movements are very well frozen. A good tonality from black to white. Good work, Alicia! |

A thoughtful expression. Nice skin texture. I am a bit ambivalent about the light beam over the eye and forehead. It is what gives the picture character and makes it stand out. On the other hand, it does not look very intentional. Maybe I am wrong.
A very good start, look forward to seeing more from you! |

Nice reflections and repeating objects. Your camera settings are optimal for the purpose; sharp throughout the picture.
On the other side, I think there are too many details and I struggle with where I shall rest my eyes. Maybe you could have gone closer and focused on a detail? |
