36 Jan 19 Comment Another fantastic picture from you, Richard! The person with the tripod legs sticking out from his back made the picture. I think cropping the dune at the top would enhance the geometry of the lines in the image. Jan 13th
36 Jan 19 Comment A well captured image of a beautiful scenery. My first impression, though, was that it was slightly "overprocessed " and too light, but I have see posters similar to this, so it is a style that works.

74 Jan 19 Comment Smoke photography is very interesting and I have done it myself some time ago. I like the sharpness and the clean look.

The top and bottom has very sharp edges, I would suggest that you fade out by using a soft brush. This will give the image a softer and more natural appearance.		 Jan 13th
74 Jan 19 Comment One interesting thing with a group like this, is the the motives are so different and we get insight in each others cultures.

In BW the drama popped out and I like the tone you have put on.

It looks like you have blurred the background in post production and at the same time blurred the ear of the camel and some other parts that should not be blurred. I know it is not easy to do this precisely, but my advice is that in many cases it is better not to blur if you are not really good at masking.		 Jan 13th
74 Jan 19 Comment I liked the composition with the diagonal lines. The silhouette of the birds works works fine against the water and gave a quiet mood.

My only pick is that the sunlight through the clouds take too much attention and could be toned down a bit.		 Jan 13th
74 Jan 19 Comment Nice bokeh and sharp droplets. However, I struggle with finding a focal point to rest my eyes. There are a lot of details, but none stands out. This is the difference between using a normal zoom and a macro lens. Jan 13th
74 Jan 19 Comment In this case both the color and BW works well, so I wouldn't prefer one before the other.

I like your camera settings where the main object is sharp and the background is blur. Although the texture in the wings are well captured, the image would be more interesting if you had changed position so we could see more of the face.
