36 Dec 18 Comment A very unusual light captured at the right moment. It is actually two pictures in one. You have succeeded well in exposing both sides correctly. Interesting shot! Dec 13th
36 Dec 18 Comment A good example of less is more. You calm down by looking at a picture like this. I think I would brighten up the foreground slightly or at least the lightest areas to give some more drama. Dec 13th
36 Dec 18 Comment Beautiful image. Well composed and well done in all aspects. Seems to be a good choice for a holiday. Dec 13th
36 Dec 18 Comment This is the award for getting up early. Well composed and exposed. Liked the sun rays that enhanced the mood. Dec 13th
36 Dec 18 Comment A very well captured shot where timing is everything. My first thought was to crop the some of the sky and then I saw Richard had done it. A better version in my opinion. I would also desaturated the green grass slightly in order to get more attention on the rainbow. Dec 13th
36 Dec 18 Comment I wouldn`t even think of making a panorama from a moving bus, so here you have been awarded for challenging the circumstances! I just have to repeat what others have said before me. You may make a poster out of this one. Dec 13th

74 Dec 18 Comment First about learning more about B&W; I would recommend to google B&W photography or Youtube and then just start watching. There is so much good stuff out there that it is hard to recommend something special.

I liked the lighting of the motive. The image might become more dramatic if you had gone lower and focused more on the old shoes. A bit more contrast would also given more texture and drama to the image. I liked the angle you have taken the picture giving the diagonal lines.

74 Dec 18 Comment An interesting motive, indeed. I liked the all the small details in the picture and the way you have enhanced them in the post processing. The lighting is perfect to get out the texture in the face. Dec 13th
74 Dec 18 Comment A nice street shot. I think it would be better balanced and framed if it had been cropped at the tree on the left side and at the plant on the right side. Good tonal range form black to light. The metal suitcase helped balancing the image with the car. Dec 13th
74 Dec 18 Comment The emotions are very well captured. Even if you don't see the brides face, you see that she is smiling and the two have eye contact. The big aperture creates a good story about the setting; focus on the bride, a slight blur on the groom and the guests in a blurry background. Dec 13th
74 Dec 18 Comment Definitely this image is better in B&W. I liked the details in the wing. I my opinion it is better with some shadows in the background. May be you could got them more evenly spred over the whole background, i.e. lighten the darkest and darkened the ones to the left. This is just details, all in all a good macro shot! Dec 13th
