Thank you for your comments, Richard and Bill. I had a discussion with myself before I submitted the photo whether I should remove the car or not and ended up with keeping it in order give an imression of life and movement. It could be interesting to hear other's opinion on this.
I agree with you, Bill, about the cropping. I change it. |

A well captured picture. My first impression was that it is too bright. At least the upper half would benefit on some darkening. Good sharpens through the whole picture due to your choice of aperture and facal length. |

Hi Hattie, I am reading a book about the romantic period in painting and your picture fits directly in here. A good balance in the composition, nice reflection of the clouds in the sea. The reflection from the wet rocks in the foreground tops up this beautiful capture. If you darken the sky slightly, it may enhance the dramatic look. |

You have succeeded well in capturing the moving water. I know there are different opinion about shutter speeds for such shots, but personally I prefer your style where the water is not completely milky.
I think it would be more interesting if you had got lower and under the branches to show some of the stream below the fall. Maybe it was not so easy to do in practice.
The texture in the rock in the background is interesting and enhance the overall impression of the image. Well done, Angela. |

You have succeeded well in capturing a moment with mood and complete harmony. His face expresses satisfaction and calmness.
I have some comments to the composition; I would moved the person slightly to the right so the whole sheet had been in the frame and the body more in accordance with rule of thirds. Also crop some from the top.
I liked the conversion to B&W. A good start, Megan! |

Thank you, David.
I was standing when shooting. Actually I was a bit too close up to the rail, so the driver blew the steam whistle just after this shot. Afterwards I regretted that I jumped aside instead of standing there for a moment longer and got a shot with a lot of steam. I take your point about the steam and will see what I can do. |

Hi Bill,
I never checked the level technically so it may be psychologically that I was afraid it should fall :). |

A stunning motive and well composed. To me it is leaning slightly towards the cliff. It is dramatic enough if it shouldn`t start falling over :)
Good depth of field by making the landscape becoming lighter towards the horizon. Nice contrast in the foreground.
I think the image would added more drama if you had darkened the clouds slightly. |

A eye-catching photo in the way it is surprising. What is the person doing in the wood in a frame? It must be some kind of symbolism, but I am not able to catch it.
There are some gray spots on both sides of the frame that seems not to be part of the background. In my opinion they should been removed to make a cleaner look. Otherwise the photographic work is good. |
