A very dramatic scene! It looks like the tree tries to bend away from the fierce volcano. Agree that the cropped version is better. |

Very well composed picture although I agree that the cropped version is better. It is a matter of taste, but to me a bit shorter shutter speed would given some texture to the water. |

A pleasant picture to look at. The lightened row of cliffs draws the eyes through the picture. I think the shutter speed is perfect just to calm down the sea just a bit. Nice contrasts due to the low sun angle. It pays to be an early bird :) |

I have good memories from Clark Quay. It`s a lovely place for a diner at night. You have captured the mood in a excellent way. The golden tone with the haze in the background give me the feeling of a warm and pleasant evening. |

Nice shot with clear and bright colors. Well composed, the shed in front gave depth to the picture. |

A splendid autumn photo. Nice composition and a good variation between light and dark areas. I my eyes the sky could be darkened a bit in order to draw less attention. An oter suggestion is to darken the tree to the right and remove the branch sticking out, in order to give more attention to the trees at the barn which to me is the focal point. |

Thank you for your comments, Bill and Le. I was in doubt myself regarding B&W vs. color. I see your point, Bill, about the sky that became blur. I will try to fix that. |
