I like the edits you made but for me a tighter crop helps. The lacy look gets lost for me in the deeper part of the forest. The angle of the trees and patterns of the branches really make for an interesting image. The light coming through the leaves is a very nice effect, it's easy to see why it caught your eye. |

I cropped the image to eliminate some sky, that's why it looks elongated. Typically it's ideal to place the horizon near the center but because the ground rises on the right side I felt it worked. That's my interpretation of your image. The original was very nice.
I am not familiar with what editing options the iPhone comes with but many people including myself enjoy using Snapseed.
It's free from the Apple App Store. I would say one of the easiest to learn and use.
You have already started the learning process. Ten people editing the same image will have ten different versions but it helps to get different ideas. One isn't better than the other, just different.
I would diffidently recommend Snapseed. |

I have never been to Hawaii but I could see watching the ocean from here all day.
I tried a couple of edits with cropping, some added contrast, saturation and took the temperature towards yellow just a little. Also darkened the sky just a little. Just my take on it.
It's amazing how clear that water looks.
Thanks for sharing. |

When I first looked at the thumbnail, I assumed it was a Utah canyon. It's always amazing to how much beauty is hidden just below, the initial look. Good eye and nice job on the edits. |

Great colors, and a wonderful image. For my eye, the flower in the background and the green pod below makes it busy. I played with it, darkening the background and adding a vignette but instead I cropped the green out of the lower left corner.
Also tried to enhance the be as well using selective. All the edits I did in the Lightroom app.
I have been thinking of photographing flowers using uv light. The say that many flowers reflect uv light, that bumble bees can see to guide them in like a runway. |

The grunge type look really works with this, as do the birds. I do like the birds, I think they help define sky. With so much detail on the ground with out the birds it feels out of balance to me.
What app did you use for this? |

This is a very strong image for me. I love the colors and how the leaves make a frame for the flowers. Really nice lighting and your crop makes all the difference for me. It would be nice if you could make some room for the leaf on the upper left to fit into the frame as you mentioned. |
