Great action shot. I think that your post processing brought out the best of the image and successfully focuses our eye on the subject. The 2 "headless" players could probably be removed in Photoshop or other software with AI capabilities. But I don't think that is necessary. You could, optionally, blur them slightly and they wouldn't be as noticeable. But this is very well done as is.

I think the black and white conversion created that streak in the sky. It was a pretty grungy filter, and I liked the looks of it, but didn't notice that streak. I'll have to clean that up. |

The fountain stands out well in your original because the colors separate the subject from its background. I feel that it doesn't work quite as well in the black and white format.
Maybe darken your background a bit as Mike suggested, or try to blur it. What a beautiful spot though!
