Very interesting subject Joe. Yes he is in full concentration! I find the right upper corner to be a little distracting still. Toning down the bright blue might help.

I like that this is an image taken in wintertime. During the summer, this lighthouse is very crowded with people, and is an entirely different scene. To me, the image is a bit dull, especially with the gray sky. I think a little brightening of the mid-tones with the Curves adjustment would help bring out more of the detail. Really nice shot though! Perfect composition. |

What a unique capture Kaylyn. Most of us will never see this kind of event in person. I like the blue booties, but I think they are a bit over-saturated and draw my eye there first. You've done a good job of cleaning up the image, and your subject stands out well against a nicely blurred background. |

I like Joe's suggestion to get the coyote off-center. This is a really nice shot Mike. I am amazed that the cranes have not scattered far and wide to get away from the coyote, but it did create a story! I agree with you that the Sigma did not give you a really sharp image. |

I prefer the first final because it looks more natural to me. That being said, I think you could darken a bit more the bottom edge that is either sand or water. Nice capture Jerry. I would suggest a different title - "You taste delicious my dear."

I think that the vignette that I put on my print copy took care of the stem, but I'll double check. One thing that I did do that does not show here is to add a little bit of canvas to the bottom on the image so that the very lowest petal did not come so close to the edge.
