Thanks Jerry. When I zoom in, the face of the man in red is too blurred to be enlarged much - which is a shame. It was just too dark to get sharp detail.

Yes this is an eyecatcher for me. It needed your explanation though, to understand what it was, and the red was most puzzling. I love to look for images like that - something that is just ordinary but you see it with new eyes through the camera. Kaylyn's suggestions were exactly right.

This is very interesting. I was thinking you should have displayed the original shot, but you did! The composition is perfect I think. Would be fun to try this in a more colorful environment. Endless possibilities. Thanks for sharing how you did it.
And thanks for sharing the video! |

I agree with Jerry here. I like the sharpness of the original and the colors of your final image. This would probably work well as a square crop. Very pretty.

Mike, your image surely conveys the desolation of west Texas. I do like Marti's version though, as it brings the scene to life. The extra saturation and brighter sky make the subject stand out from the background. Good eye to spot this, and your composition is right on target. |

Nice work on this one Al. I really like what you have done to the image. Joe's version is good too. You both have isolated the best part of the image and brought out the natural colors of the scene. |

Nice capture framing the sun. It looks misty to me, not really foggy. Still it sets a pretty mood. The monochrome is perfect for this.
