22 Jul 21 Comment Very nice recovery Jerry, as your original was pretty dark. I think your original is lacking just a tiny bit of sharpness to finish it off this closely though. I like your background adjustments which smoothed out the color and pattern. Well done.

22 Jul 21 Comment Wonderful story Joe. My eye goes first to the wall, but then lands on the little girl who is very interested in the contents of her bag. And Papa is telling her something about it. I think he is a little too contrasty, but overall, a very nice image.

I see the value of making it more life-like by using a real sky, but I think your background creates a vintage mood and is more like a painting than a photograph. I know the lack of motion in the props is an issue, but probably difficult to correct in post processing. I would like to see a little more room at the bottom though. Nice job. Jul 15th
