22 May 21 Comment Very interesting Marti. I agree it's a little gritty. I like the smoother look of the original, and the original seems to have more depth because of the deep shadows. Nice capture. May 12th
22 May 21 Comment As Jerry said, there are lots of layers here and much to look at. My eye starts with the fall colors and works its way back to the near mountain and the far mountains. I think the sky has been changed a little too much in your final. In the original, the snow storm is very evident to me, but the final version is much less stormy. Very nice image though.

22 May 21 Comment I love the finishing you have used on the image Joe. You have made it look like a painting, and that is very appropriate to the subject. My only suggestion would be to brighten up the people in the boat. They are not the subject, but I think they could be a little better defined. My eye keeps trying to make out what is there. You have successfully overcome the limitations of that dull day. Well done!

22 May 21 Comment This is really nice Al. I like the way you have finished it. It's very natural looking. You have some blurring down in the left corner that's a little distracting - I guess from trying to remove those 2 little dogs. I think you could have left the larger white one in, and that would have made your task easier. Also, is it just me or does this tilt to the left? Nevertheless, I do like the image very much, and especially the way you enhanced the color. May 5th
