I think everyone else has expressed my thoughts as well. I do love the soft, hazy, golden light and would not try to bring out more detail. I do prefer Joe and Marti's crop. Nice capture. |

I agree with the others. This is a beautiful scene, very serene with soft colors. The tree just feels a bit crowded. But overall a nice image and your post processing is perfect. |

Very nice vintage style image. And a very good eye to catch this Al! I had thought about suggesting that you finish it in a sepia tone, but I really like what Marti has done to set off the pottery. Nice work! |

That's a great zig-zag! A lot of distractions though. I have to say, I didn't even see the reflection at first because my eye went other places. I like what Joe has done. It works as a black and white also because it brings out the pattern more when the color is gone.
This was a Nik Silver Efex filter.

What is disturbing to you Joe? Is there a problem with this image that I'm overlooking? |

Marti, it's in Studio 2, AI Remix, Stained Glass. Change the setting to High to get smaller pieces. |

This is a lovely simple image. I think the final is a bit oversharpened and it loses the creamy quality of the leaves. I think you could give the image a lot of different looks. Here is a simple one that is more like a drawing and hasn't altered the coloring too much. From Topaz Studio 2, Add Look, Soft collection, Softsketch.
Enlarge this to see the detail.

Tuna is the Spanish name for the fruit of this cactus. Not sure I know what it is in English. I first heard that term in a James Michener or Larry McMurtry book and thought it was pretty cool. The character in the book was surviving in the desert on these "tunas".
I agree that the image needs some brightening. Will try! |
