22 Oct 20 Comment Nice overall image Al. Very colorful. I do like the slight slant. It creates more interest. I also think that leaving the dark balloon unlit would have done a similar thing - create a little interruption in the flow, and therefore create interest. I feel that the image is a little over processed. Comparing the original and final, it may be that it has had too much sharpening. Good job though. Oct 17th
22 Oct 20 Comment I like both of your versions. But I prefer your first one. I like the effect of the decorative molding on the columns that repeats down the right side, and you lose that when you go more symmetrical. I would have cropped up a little on the bottom to eliminate that bit of molding in the right corner - or just cloned it out. Very atmospheric image. I like it a lot. Oct 17th
22 Oct 20 Comment Pretty spooky! This certainly tells a story. Who is that person? Are they in distress? What's going on?? I agree with Joe that you probably didn't need to be so still. Ghostly movement would have been good. Oct 17th

22 Oct 20 Comment Nice Christmas card type of image. It may be better to leave the house dark since the lightening of it emphasized the shadow of the garage roof which cut out part of the brick area. For hand held though, this is pretty amazing! Oct 11th

22 Oct 20 Comment Moon shots are very difficult for me as well. This one really is pretty good, especially for your first attempt. I think that in post processing you can do quite a bit of sharpening, clarity, contrast. The image will tolerate that. You just have to play with your settings though, to see what works best with your camera/lens combination. Oct 11th
