22 Jan 19 Comment Very nice resurrection Marti. Removing all those dust spots is a tedious process. But you were in the right place at the right time, and it's an image worth preserving. Jan 15th
22 Jan 19 Comment I'm kind of torn between the whole image and your cropped version. On first impression I really liked the purple mountains and dark sky because it gave context to the cow and birds but it does leave you too far distant from the subject. Kaylyn's cropping suggestion would be worth a try. Overall this is a charming picture of cow and friends. Jan 15th
22 Jan 19 Comment This is a beautiful portrait Joe. I agree with Jerry and Kaylyn that there appears to be a blue tone to her hair. Not sure you could bring out much more in the eyes. A lovely, lovely image. Jan 15th
22 Jan 19 Comment This is a fantastic action shot with the matador tossed up in the air. I think maybe you've just tried to brighten a little too much or crop a bit close. Your original, while we can't see the details as well, conveys the same action and meaning - at least to me - but without the noise being as evident.
That's a consequence of the conditions, as you say. And in bright sunshine this would have been just WOW!

22 Jan 19 Comment I really like how your subjects flow through the image from the dog in front to the cattle in back. I also like the filter that you applied. It is subtle and not overpowering. I agree with Jerry that there is still an overly bright area, and specifically the horizontal piece that comes out of the cowboy's head to the right. (I guess it would be his left.) Nice job of cloning out the background distractions and the tail end of the cow on the right. Jan 12th
22 Jan 19 Comment I love the simplicity of the image and the way that you have enhanced the color. I think I would have tried to tilt the leaf a little so that it is more diagonal and not so totally horizontal. It would also look good flipped vertically. Very nice work though. Jan 12th
22 Jan 19 Reply Thanks for the very specific suggestions Joe. Here is the image with your suggestions, although I think I have left more sky. Jan 8th
