22 Dec 18 Comment Interesting street scene. I especially like the view of the woman whose face we can see. Maybe you could have shot from another angle to get more faces. I don't think it matters what they're looking at - it's the intensity of their interest. I agree that the cropping on the left is a little tight. Very nice. Dec 16th
22 Dec 18 Comment I love snow trees and this is a beautiful rendition. You didn't try to show the entire tree, and I think it makes a better image. And of course black and white is perfect because you don't have to deal with the blues and yellows of the snow. I like Jerry's idea of trying a metallic print. Dec 16th
22 Dec 18 Comment Yes this does, indeed, tell a story. I'm glad that you left the sheepherder and his animals in the image for perspective. I think it's a balancing act to get as much as possible of the scenery and surroundings and still put the focus on the sheep. Very nice capture of an unusual event. Dec 9th
22 Dec 18 Comment I really like how you brought out the golds of the sunset and the reflections of that in the water. The tree is a little confusing to me because of the unusual root structure and how it is reflected. I would brighten the tree somewhat, and particularly the root area, to enhance the detail. Lovely image though. Calm and peaceful. Dec 9th
22 Dec 18 Comment I really like the way that this image invokes a cold and lonely winter day. The only thing missing is a few big fat snowflakes floating down. The sky in the original is more in keeping with the mood. Very nice.
