Beautiful abstract. I'll have to try your technique. Looks like fun. |

An interesting and imaginative composition and definitely an unusual presentation of a subject. Although is the flower pot the subject, or are the jeans/boots the subject? I agree with the others that your recovery was very effective. |

Yes it sure could be too bright. I'm never sure how things will appear to others. I think all that white area increases the bright effect also. I agree that it could come down some on the top, but I was trying to maintain a square and think of the rule of thirds, etc. so I probably need to play around with the cropping. |

What a cute and sweet picture Mike. I agree with Marti that it only tells a story when you include both goats in the image. And to me you have fulfilled the requirement of an unusual presentation of a common object. Though to most of us, goats are not a common feature of our lives! |

This is kind of a combination of photography and graphics - I guess mainly because the sun is not a realistic sun while the other elements are realistically depicted. I like the graphic look though, and as Jerry said, maybe leaving the face on the sun would be a good look, and then make another element more of a graphic also. The rock is the part that doesn't work for me because you don't immediately identify it as a rock and the computer does not naturally sit there. Maybe place the computer on some grass? Or sit it on a brightly colored little table there in the sand? Or even sit it directly on the sand next to the little cactus. None of which can I even do! So I admire your creativity and technique. |

Yes original and creative. I like the subtle diagonal gradient that you have used. It gives a different bluer shade to the lipstick. The only suggestion I have would be to have cropped just a bit tighter on the lips so that the shadows of the nose are not visible. Very good!

Very creative Jerry. At first I thought you shot up through a glass table to the forks on the top because of the little flares of light. This takes a bit of studying to see that the shadows are really what define the forks. And you did an excellent job of cloning in the additional pieces. I think I like the blue version a bit better. Nice work! |
