Beautiful horses! I'm not sure about the background being too bright. I think it reflects the actual scene with what looks like a late afternoon sun illuminating the trees and creating some long shadows. If you were going to do anything, a small adjustment through Levels or Curves to increase the contrast could make the horses pop out more from the background - more dynamic as John said. |

It is a great action shot with that gritty look. The bull and rider look as though they have had a textured filter applied, which is a good look I think (although maybe not intentional?) - and helps them to stand out from the sandy arena floor. I would like to see a bit more brightness overall. |

Marvelous work Joe - you have patience! Sometimes it is fun to see just how far Photoshop can take you, and this is a great example. |

Lovely colors and kind of a classic European landscape - a Van Gogh look. I agree with Joe - crop a little foreground to get the entire tree in the frame. Also you could easily clone out that piece of equipment between the first and second trees. But this is a very nice image overall. |

Another great animal image Mike. I agree with the others about the eyes being a little dark. Lightening might also bring out some of the detail of those beautiful eyelashes that llamas usually have. This should do well in your photo contest. |

This is wonderful Jerry - I love it! I'm torn between the color and B&W versions. In the BW you lose some of the effect of the reflections off the piano top, and I do really like the gold tones in the color version. But the BW seems to me to be so much more dramatic.
Regarding the composition - the book on the left does not seem to me as distracting or "heavy" in the BW version - but I think the shape of the piano itself lends to the illusion of being weighted to the left. |

Yes Joe - I like what you have done. And yes, this building attracts lots of photographers, both night and day. |

Marti, you are right about the halo around the lights. It is definitely there when you zoom way in. I'm not sure why it is there but it may have to do with the fact that they are LED lights, not incandescent or whatever used to be used.
I agree with Mike that it would be a good Christmas card - and I'd remove the rest of that left side tree. |
