So geocoin trackables I would guess. I'm not a geocacher but Google helped me out! |

You're absolutely right John. The interior of my piano. This is the original. |

Nice abstract image Vicki. Looks like a piece of very weathered white painted wood, blue painted wood, and then a piece of wood that has been weathered to the point of disintegration. Part of a boat? I like the colors too.

Nice image, Jerry, and arranged well to create a strong diagonal line. I think you have the resolution to crop in a bit closer, which would help us see more of the detail of the dragonfly. |

Wow - that is pretty amazing! Your macro looks very little like the original! Very good. |

It's a lovely composition Mike, and nice golden colors as well. I think I would try cropping up a bit from the bottom to focus attention on those beautiful seed heads. I agree with what Joe has suggested with a reversal ring. I have seen that demonstrated in a class, and it was quite amazing. I don't have a macro lens either so need ways to get in close. I have found that using "Live View" and manual focus helps, but often outdoors, you just can't see well enough for that. |

This is very abstract - assuming that it is not really an ash tray? Your light source seems to be coming from the right and casting a shadow from the "cigarette". So the lower shapes could be shadows also. I'll have to keep thinking about this one. |

Very good Joe! Your final version is more grainy, perhaps adding to the mystery? The little purple cell-like structures lead me to think this is or was something living. I'll guess a seashell?
