Beautiful image Marti. Wouldn't it have been fun if one of those horses had popped it head up just for a moment when you were shooting? Nice sweeping wide-angle view, and great fall color. |

I agree also about a bit more cropping - remove the tall building on the left and some of the road in the foreground.
This image has an unusual look, probably because it was film to start with. I think it might look good as a very delicate monochrome because it has such wonderful detail. |

Really nice image Jerry. I agree with Marti that waterfalls are tricky. I tried one recently with not a lot of success. You have a certain amount of the "cottony" look to the water which seems to be a popular technique, but not too much. And I think you have successfully brought out and defined much of the detail of the surrounding rock. My only suggestion would be to leave in at least one of the people to show the scale of this falls because it is quite massive. |

Very creative Joe! Actually having fish pictures to work with to create this surely helped, but it probably would work with other colorful designs as well since the shape is what is defining the fish. Would definitely look great hanging on a wall! |

Beautiful image Vicki. I think that black and white works especially well for white flowers such as this. I like the way that you have blended in your backdrop so that it appears to be a framing of the flower within the crop. I can imagine that this was quite the challenge to photograph - and I think you met the challenge! |

I like your subject matter here very much Mike. Well done! The composition is very, very nice with the lighthouse appearing to be the sentinal looking out over the strait. Good foreground interest, mid-ground, and far. I agree with Marti about the sky color. I have this issue often also, that in adjusting tones, the sky and clouds become too blue, and I prefer more a more natural gray look. |

Thanks for the great suggestions Marti. I had a lot of indecision about the cropping on the right side. I kind of thought that the roof line of the barn entrance led your eye off the image - but I guess that the silo with all the shrubbery growing out of it is the blocker. So I will try a recropping.
Totally agree that the sky is over-saturated.
I had tried this in monochrome but it seemed to have too much mid-tone and not enough white and black contrast. Sepia might be the way to go.
