Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
17 Jul 17 Comment I saved the comments for this image for last for it blows me away. It is striking and oh so sharp. The three colors compliment each other well and I particularly appreciate the roughness of the valve and the wall behind. I like the remnants of the previous red paint on the wall, as well as all the white specs. The angle you have chosen allow for highlights in just the right places and the right amount. Very nice indeed! Jul 14th
17 Jul 17 Comment Dick, when I first looked at the image, I thought it must be October because of the red and yellow leaves. Well, your acrobatics were worth it for you came away with an attractive image. I would crop the top and the left side a bit. The cascading soft water contrasts nicely with the somewhat unnatural looking surroundings. Jul 14th
17 Jul 17 Comment Hi Peter and welcome! I am glad you joined us. I was the new kid on the block for quite a while. I am probably the most inexperienced member in the group, but I keep trying and learning. Your image reminds me of the 4 months I spent in Bournemouth
many, many years ago. The image is well balanced (a lot of threes) and depicts total relaxation. I like it very much.

17 Jul 17 Comment Wow! This the flower in this image really pops, but because it is a little softer than the butterfly, the two seem to compete for the main focus of the image. Personally, I would like to see the background, especially the leaves around the butterfly just a tiny bit a softer. I definitely would display this in my house. Jul 14th
17 Jul 17 Comment This is a perfectly cropped image and I like it. I don't think the colored image would have the same impact. I am with Dick. Monochrome places the image into the appropriate period. I would like to see a little more drama in the sky, but maybe that would take away from the main subject. Jul 14th
17 Jul 17 Comment Kim,
I can't take my eyes off this image. It is very well composed. The bridge leading to the mill and the boulders are well-place. The water treatment adds to an already pleasing picture. It makes the entire scene idyllic.
