I also was at Angkor Wat in February of this year and enjoyed it very much. What a majestic temple! I for me the image could be a little sharper. A lot of details seem to be lost. Did you use a tripod? I know it is cumbersome to carry one when traveling. The temple is nicely framed by the tree on the left and the palm on the right. I like the reflection. |

It is all about being in the right place at the right time and you obviously were. I am amazed that you were able to capture this image with an 18-55mm lens. The hawk, especially the eyes, is tack-sharp. I am glad that 'lunch' is less in focus and almost blending in with the tree branch. Did you use custom WB? The feathers seem to be
perfectly white. Very nice! |

Lots of drama in this image. The tree in the front, the rocks on the left side, the huge flat in front of a mountain range with the clouds towering above and throwing their shadow onto the hillside. It would like to see the image in color, but I am quite sure that it would not have the same impact. There is a lot of detail in the image and all is tack sharp. |

This deserted train station gives a peaceful feeling. I love this image for it is well-composed and it tells a story. The hint of smoke shows that the train is arriving, but there is no-one waiting to get on board. Thus I assume this is a sleepy little town in the countryside. It reminds me of a time when I lived in Coltishall, Norwich. |
