Thanks Pete, I'll go back and do some more work on the image before printing it. |

Thanks, Keisha, I was trying to be as inconspicuous as possible because Alana starts to ham it up when she knows she is being photographed. I have several images of her looking straight ahead enjoying her popsicle but for some reason, she turned to the side and I was able to capture this moment in thought. I wish I could have moved fast enough to capture more of her face. |

Wonderful landscape photo. I wonder if it would be possible to get just a little more contrast in the foreground? I like the post-processing you have done on the sunlit hills. I agree with Jay's crop comment. |

Great shot Pete capturing the action at its peak! In PS I clicked on subject the fine-tuned the selection then copied and pasted it to a new layer. I then darkened and Gaussian blurred the original image so the action and the players stand out a little more. It's always fun to get a new toy, have fun. |

Jay, I want to welcome you to Group 5. I too like to do some still life/macro studies occasionally. You have chosen an excellent subject to work with as it has a wonderful shape and texture. I agree with Pete's comment about the post-processing of the foreground leaf. Additionally, you might consider cloning out the leaf/petal to the left of the seedpod (?). I would interested to what equipment you used, i.e., speedlight and any light modifiers. |

David, I feel this where multiple exposures would have helped, more exposure for the front of the trains would have added more detail in the darker areas. I do like how the lighted areas give depth to the image. Adding a glow to the lights is a nice touch. If this were mine, I would have cropped in on the right and left-hand sides to the two platform signs. |

Sophia this is a fantastic image of a bee gathering nectar which is the story. If this were mine I would crop in tighter on the bee and leave out the negative space on the left. The bee is tack-sharp and the color contrast is eye-catching. The DoF is perfect. I like that you flipped the image too. |

Keisha, I think this image tells a story, and your idea of making it a monotone image is perfect. I thought your post-processed image was a little harsh, so I used NIK Effects Pro's soft sepia preset. I adjusted the exposure and contrast. In PS, I isolated the BG and introduced a slight Gaussian blur. |
