Sophia, thank you for your comments; my first crop for the family was as you suggested; in the one I submitted, I felt was better to capture the moment between father and son. Here is the one for the family album. |

Yes, if this were mine, I would tone down highlighted areas to bring more attention to the one bee flying from the hive. My eye keeps looking to the upper left corner. I feel you have captured the essence "busy little bee". |

Sophia, what a wonderful experience; I always try to get some good bee shots when I see them flying from flower to flower. I think you have two different images, however, I prefer the one you submitted as the original. I like the bee flying from right to left and I think it is also a little sharper. |

Mark, this is an awesome image, however, I thought it could use a little more saturation and contrast, especially in the mountains at the end of the valley. I did as Sophia suggested burning in the right side of the valley and using dehazing in the mountain area to increase the contrast. |

Pete, this is a nice clean image of a butterfly without many distractions. Sophia's suggestions are spot-on and as a viewer, they have made a more impactful image. |

David, we get squirrels in our backyard from time to time so I know how quickly they move. They are fun to watch jumping from limb to limb and tree to tree; definitely, hard to track. I feel you have done well salvaging this image; I agree with Sophia's suggestions. |

Keisha, this is an eye-catching image. Thank you for submitting a rather large file, after enlarging this image on my monitor; I realized there were so many interesting details in many of the water drops. I can imagine this as a large print, one could spend time looking at all the drops discovering new images and textures. Good job for finding the perfect spot to enlarge into a B&W abstract. |
