Mark, superb action shot, every important aspect of the action has been frozen and is sharp. The only nitpicky suggestion would be to darken the BG just to add a little more separation between the roper and the audience. Also, a little dodging of the roper's face. This is just a real winner action shot! |

Pete nice shot of the tattoo artist, I agree the B&W image behind the artist certainly adds an extra interest to the image. I would be very interested in knowing how you achieved the final skin color as I had a lot of trouble trying to correct the skin color for my submission this month. I know the artificial light and yellow walls didn't help either. |

Sohia, I have to agree, in my opinion, having a completely white BG just adds to the possibility that the image of the bird was flipped upside down. Also, the birds are a little contrasty on my monitor which adds to the possibility that this is not a real photograph. There should be a shadow or a reflection on the water to confirm the authenticity of the image. Perhaps the best bet would be to include the water but a bit darken slightly and add a bit of Gaussian blur. |

Jim, this is a wonderful image of a Swiss town, however, the branches coming into the town area bothered me a little so I removed the lower ones, and moved the larger one on the right up more. I made a copy of both the red and green foliage, then rotated the copies and moved them to the appropriate sides. I added a slight amount of vibrance and saturation.

Hi Barbara, this is an interesting flower shot. I like the water drop at the edge of the flower. I would like to know more about the Flaming Pear flood filter, where can I get more information about it? |
