David, I have to agree with Jim's comment; you could use PS neural filter to create a depth of field focus which would reduce the distraction of the wall on the other side of the river. Then clone out the wall in the FG. |

Barbara, this is a really cute image of two young boys discussing tennis strategies. I used a PS neural filter to create a depth-of-field focus. I then selected the face of the little boy on the left to lighten and add a touch of red to make it a little rosier. |

Pete, great job. You have captured the fall colors in all of its glory; changing the color of the canoe to match the Autumn color was perfect. |

Jim, I think your second cropping is perfect, I agree with Mark, nice image. No other suggestions. |

Mark, this is a spectacular photograph and I applaud the post-processing that you have done with the image. I do agree with Pete on his second comments so I thought I would do a little work on it too. First I dodged the FG slightly and burned in the bright areas of the rocks. Then I add a solid color fill layer (very light yellow) with a black mask. I painted white around the lighthouse light and adjusted the opacity. Next, I selected the sky to make it slightly darker. Then I increased the saturation and adjusted the hue to make it a little cooler. |

Thanks Mark, I liked the roof because it added depth to the whole image but perhaps you're right. I do agree that I should have toned down the window lights and the light coming in from the roof. |

Sophia, what a great shot! I took your submitted image and made a duplicate image and then used the multiply blend mode to create a more contrasty image. I then made a stamp image and did a little dodging on both of the eagles and a slight curves adjustment. I used the remove tool to delete the branches for a final image. Very quick and simple, what do you think? |
