Thanks everyone for the very helpful comments; I've been torn between leaving the leaves in the image to taking them out entirely. In the end, I like what Pete did by moving the leaf and extending the two branches. |

This image obviously took a lot of work to get to its final stage but I think you were successful. It is amazing what the combination of the modern digital camera and imaging software can achieve. There is still some noise most notably in the dark sky but it is not objectionable; the overall tonality of the image is very good from the shadow area to the highlights have been handled well. |

When I went took photography in school (the late 60's) having the subject looking into the camera was kind of frowned upon but now it's the style. I agree with David's comment; Pete you have captured a great portrait. I also agree with David's comment about the eyes and skin. |

Just a wonderful composite! I do prefer your final choice vise rather than the vampire. I just admire the skill you have for putting all the elements together for this image. |

Barbara, I think you did an excellent job with the exposure, the slow shutter speed was still fast enough to freeze the rider while panning but was slow enough to blur the galloping horse's legs. Having a blank sky in the background accentuates the rider. |
