5 Jul 22 Comment Thanks, everyone for your great suggestions, this is one image I will be printing after incorporating these wonderful tips. What a GREAT group. Jul 28th
5 Jul 22 Reply I had another image without the tree but it wasn't nearly as nicely done as what you have accomplished. I have been playing around with PS 2022 Content-Aware so I will give it another shot. Jul 28th
5 Jul 22 Reply Thanks Pete, the color of the water was really something else; I do like how you brought out more of the turquoise color. The cropping looks good too. Jul 28th
5 Jul 22 Reply Barbara, I meant to say that for me the little black line ISN'T that distracting. No excuses. Jul 16th
5 Jul 22 Reply Thanks, Jim, I really liked the texture of the rocks and this is what I focused on; however, I believe I overdid it. I do like your interpretation much more. Thank you. Jul 4th
5 Jul 22 Reply Thanks, Barbara, the natural bridge has been eroded away leaving two protrusions to the right and left of the lower pool. An able-bodied person is able to leap from one side to the other; however, it is still referred to as the "Natural Bridge". Jul 4th
5 Jul 22 Comment Sophia you definitely have a winning image; Pete and Jim have just refined a wall-hanging-worthy photograph. Well done. Jul 2nd
5 Jul 22 Comment Mark, a truly wonderful image lending itself to many interpretations; mine is a combination of yours, Jim's, and Pete's. I've darkened the FG with the exception of near rocks and dodged a little bit of the cave entrance. I was trying to keep as much texture in the image without losing it in the highlights or the shadows. Jul 2nd
5 Jul 22 Comment Pete, when I saw this I remembered David Cooke and the images he submitted (Aug 2019 for example). Your post-processing is different but as David did you captured an everyday occurrence and brought out something of interest. Good eye. I like what Jim did with his perspective crop. I also agree with Sophia's suggestions. Jul 2nd
5 Jul 22 Comment Jim, great shots! I favor the tight formation. When we lived in Hawaii either the Blue Angles or Thunderbirds would put on a show every year. They were always to watch. Jul 2nd
5 Jul 22 Comment David, great image! I think I would leave the other post in because it adds depth. I agree with Pete and Jim's comments; creating the "kicked up" dirt adds to action. Jul 2nd
5 Jul 22 Comment Nice image Barbara, I think the texture in the leaves really adds to the image. I agree with Sophia's comment about flipping the image. I also believe that the black line is that distracting. Jul 2nd
