I can't be sure but I believe these are the remains of a snake; I was unable to find the head but I have saved what I could. I have no idea how these remains found their way into my backyard nor how long they were there before I found them. So, yes Mark, this is a brain teaser. I have a new lens that will give me 5:1 magnification so I am going to try some focus-stacking studies. |

I see a recurring theme of giraffes and automobiles. |

Mark, I see two pictures here; one of the mountains and the clouds. The other is of the cows and the one sheep. When I look at the cows and the sheep it just makes me smile, I think I would crop it a little tighter than Bev did. I understand your point of showing a "farming flavor"; I haven't seen anything like this in Texas. |

This is an interesting study in lines; I'm just wondering if you could increase the contrast slightly to accentuate the railing's shadow and bring out a little more of the texture in the wood. |

David, In my opinion, the color version is better; for one the red bar across the front of the engine is totally lost in the B&W. Also, lost in the B&W version are the flecks of color on the sides of the cars. There is more definition in the foliage and the steam in the color version. |

Without question a WOW moment! It pays to have the camera ready to go because second chances don't happen very often. |
