My thanks to everyone for their comments, I had a feeling I would receive some excellent feedback and I was not disappointed. David, you went far beyond anything I was expecting, wow 16 layers; I hope this more of a challenge than a task. I certainly do appreciate the time you took. Using the information you provided I will work on this photo again. I was not looking for an exhibition image but just a better image to remember our time overseas. We are also cat people but we have never had a cat stay seated with us for any length of time. Again, thanks, everyone. |

Excellent photo Pete and making it a monochrome really captures the mood. I just was thinking if you had moved enough to the right, just enough to catch the vet's reflection in the memorial if it would have been another interesting image. |

You certainly have an eye for abstracts and I have enjoyed looking at your previous submission; however, I feel there is too much lavender (purple) in this one. Your other submissions have had more color. This image is rather cold, but this may have been what you wanted to convey to the viewer - the cold of the approaching winter. |

Very well done David, perhaps a little darker BG like Pete suggested. This is something for the wall for those who like macros, bugs, damselflies, etc. |
