Thanks, David, for the good advice. I will work on this image some more. Getting rid of the grass on his tail feathers will be a challenge. I will work cloning out the small blades of grass around the birds head too. |

El Dia de Los Muertos is certainly an interesting celebration and you have captured one of its aspects with this image. Turning it into a B/W image makes it more of a somber occasion. I darkened the BG and added a little gaussian blur. |

Great job Pete, both with capturing the image and the post-processing. I agree post-processing has come a long way and Topaz has some wonderful products. The cyclist has obviously put a lot of thought into his very colorful costume. I am amazed how well this has turned out considering the shallow depth of field at 2.8 and the very high ISO. |

This is another aspect of photography that I would like to explore; so far I have created some interesting backgrounds to use as replacement backgrounds but nothing as nice as what you have presented. Very ethereal. |

Excellent post-processing! Removing all but one individual and then adding the sunset and the wonderful sky really makes this image. Great job. BTW, I too have a collection of skies that I would rather use than what Luminar provides. Thankfully, Luminar makes it easy to use them. |

I, like the others, find the original a little more appealing. However, both images are excellent images and show great creative thinking to put it all together, |
