Thank you Barbara, I will do some experimenting to see what I can come up with. |

Thanks Pete, last weekend was Georgetown, Tx's annual Red Poppy Festival; photos of red poppies are everywhere. I thought I would try something a little different. |

Pete, you have a winner! You captured the expression and the feeling. The lighting is excellent and everything is sharp. The cropping is spot on. |

Lucky you, what a great job, being able to action shots like this one. I agree with Pete about the distracting background but it's not like you can really do anything about it. |

Very interesting technique, if you ever do a Youtube video on your post processing please let us know. You always seem to use Nik's Glamour Glow but I'm never able to get the effect that you are able to achieve. I would like to see a little more light on the individual and not so much on the building and tree behind him. The color you've used creates a feeling of a warm summer morning walk. |

Barbara, I agree with Pete's comments; however, I would like to add one thing. The highlights on Mary's right cheek and nose are a little too strong. You might take a look at some Youtube videos on frequency separation; using this technique you can tone down the highlights and still keep the texture. Otherwise, this is well done, I'm sure the model would love to have a copy. |
